This modern penthouse apartment in Oasis Beach La Zenia 6 is equipped with satellite TV and WiFi. The open kitchen is furnished with all necessary appliances, while the apartment features two bathrooms, each with a shower, sink, and toilet, along with two bedrooms that accommodate four guests (2 x 2 sleeps).

Both the living room and the bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning (hot and cold). The balcony offers views of the communal garden and the swimming pool, and the spacious roof terrace is furnished with outdoor furniture and sunbeds, providing lovely views of the surrounding area.

La Zenia Area Information
La Zenia is located on the southern Costa Blanca, just south of the major town of Torrevieja, in an area known as Orihuela Costa. This small yet vibrant beach resort features two popular sandy beaches perfect for relaxation and is home to La Zenia Boulevard, the largest shopping mall in the province of Alicante.

The area is dotted with numerous bars, cafes, and restaurants, making it a key starting or stopping point along the Orihuela Coastal walking route. La Zenia is undeniably a fantastic location for a beach holiday, as it offers everything needed for a memorable family getaway in the sun.

Climate
La Zenia enjoys a predominantly delightful climate, with over 300 days of sunshine per year, low humidity, and mild winters. Summers can be quite hot, reaching temperatures of 35 degrees Celsius and higher, while spring and autumn remain warm and dry. Winters are still pleasant, making it possible to celebrate Christmas on the beach—a tradition for many.

The La Zenia countryside is surrounded by orange and lemon groves, offering beautiful walking paths. A lovely coastal walk leads to Cabo Roig, featuring breathtaking views of the cliffs and sea. Alternatively, you can head towards Playa Flamenca, where you’ll find two beaches with bars and even more dining options. For those in good condition, the scenic walk can continue to Punta Prima or even to Torrevieja, along a sandy path that includes a naturist beach. Punta Prima offers charming beach bars and excellent restaurants.

Markets
While there are no markets directly in La Zenia, several are located nearby. On Saturdays, you can visit the La Flamenca market, which is within walking distance. Cabo Roig also hosts a delightful market on Thursdays, while Torrevieja features a large street market on Fridays.

Along the Cabo Roig beach, a pleasant market takes place on Thursdays, showcasing local fruits, vegetables, and food, along with mobile bars serving “Chocolate y Churros” and souvenirs. Most importantly, shoppers can enjoy stunning views of the Mar Menor.

Getting to La Zenia
La Zenia is conveniently located between two airports: San Javier Airport in Murcia, which is a 15 to 20-minute drive away, and Alicante Airport, approximately 40 minutes away. Both airports are well-connected to various destinations in Western Europe.

Alicante Airport is serviced by numerous budget airlines, including Ryanair, Norwegian, and EasyJet. La Zenia is accessible via the AP-7 highway, which requires a toll. This highway connects the northern and southern Costa Blanca. 

From San Javier Airport to La Zenia, you can avoid tolls by exiting the motorway at Cabo Roig or Campoamor. The toll for driving from Alicante Airport is approximately €4 to €6, depending on the tourist season. Alternatively, you can take the N-332, which connects the Costa Blanca without tolls, passing through the cities of Santa Pola and Torrevieja.

If you head towards Alicante from La Zenia, you will reach the bustling city of Torrevieja, which is popular among Western European tourists.
