La Zenia is located on the Costa Blanca South, just south of the major town of Torrevieja. This stretch of coast is known as the Orihuela Costa. Climate
The weather is mostly fantastic; after all, La Zenia, as part of the Costa Blanca, offers at least 300 days of sunshine a year, along with low humidity and mild winters. Summers can be very hot, reaching up to 35 degrees Celsius and higher. However, spring and autumn are warm and dry, while winters remain pleasant, allowing you to enjoy Christmas on the beach—a tradition for many.
Dining Out
La Zenia is popular among holidaymakers and residents from across Western Europe. Its appeal was boosted significantly by the opening of La Zenia Boulevard. Since this new shopping center opened, even more tourists have been drawn to this beautiful area, resulting in a wide variety of international restaurants offering cuisines from around the world.

Scenic Walks
The La Zenia countryside is surrounded by orange and lemon trees. A delightful walk along the cliffs to Cabo Roig offers stunning views of the rocks and sea. This scenic route takes about an hour from the Zenia Hotel to Cabo Roig harbor and beach, where you can enjoy a tapa and refreshments at the beach bars or in the marina itself.
Similarly, you can walk in the opposite direction towards Playa Flamenca, which features two beaches with bars. In Playa Flamenca, you’ll find even more restaurants. If you’re feeling energetic, continue your journey to Punta Prima or even to Torrevieja, following the sandy walking path with a beach that accommodates naturists. Punta Prima is home to lovely beach bars and excellent restaurants.
Markets
While there are no markets held in La Zenia itself, there are several nearby. On Saturdays, you can visit the La Flamenca market, which is within walking distance of La Zenia. Another charming market takes place on Thursdays in Cabo Roig. Additionally, Torrevieja hosts a large street market every Friday.
Along the beach of Cabo Roig, a pleasant market occurs on Thursdays, featuring local fruits, vegetables, food stalls offering “Chocolate y Churros,” local products, and souvenirs, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Mar Menor.
Getting to La Zenia
La Zenia is centrally located between two airports. San Javier Airport in Murcia is a 15 to 20-minute drive away, while Alicante Airport is approximately a 40-minute drive. Both airports are well-connected to the rest of Western Europe.
At Alicante Airport, many budget airlines, such as Ryanair, Norwegian, and EasyJet, operate flights. La Zenia is easily accessible via the AP-7 motorway, which incurs a toll. The AP-7 connects the northern and southern Costa Blanca.
From Murcia San Javier Airport to La Zenia, you can avoid tolls if you exit the motorway at Cabo Roig or Campoamor. The toll cost when driving from Alicante Airport is around 4 to 6 euros, depending on the tourist season. Alternatively, you can opt for a toll-free route by taking the N-332, which connects the Costa Blanca from north to south, passing through the cities of Santa Pola and Torrevieja.
If you travel towards Alicante from La Zenia, you will pass through the busy city of Torrevieja, a popular destination among Western European tourists. For a quieter experience with more Spanish tourists, consider heading towards the Mar Menor and visiting the towns of Pilar de la Horadada.

What happens after I have booked an accommodation?
You have booked an accommodation through our website. We will send the travel documents to your email address as soon as possible. After our confirmation, your booking is definite.
When do I make the down payment?
The down payment of 30% of the rental price has to be made within 5 days after the invoice date. All payments have to be pay through bank transfer. Your payment statement and the booking confirmation together can be used as the rental contract.
Do I need to pay a damage deposit?
Yes, you will have to pay a deposit of 200€. This deposit will be refunded to you within 8 days after departure. Possible costs for damage will be deducted from the refunded deposit.
How do I arrange the Key handover?
Regarding the key handover we request you to contact us through email 2 weeks before departure. The accommodation manager is been informed about your booking today. The details of the accommodation manager will be given to you after we receive your mail.
At what time do I need to arrive at my holiday home?
Every day of arrival is also a day of departure. Guests are able to arrive between 16.00 and 23.00 hrs. On the day of departure you have to leave the accommodation before 11.00 hrs. You will find more information in your travel documents.
Key deliveries after 23.00 hours at additional costs 25€, refundable form the deposit. In case you would like to arrive earlier or later, please discuss this with the accommodation manager. It may be an option!
Are bed and bath linen included in the rental price?
Kitchen, bed and bath linen are included in the rental price. We advise our guests to bring a beach towel themselves to use at the swimming pool or at the beach. The same goes for the bedding for baby cots.
Use of electricity
The mentioned rental rates are all inclusive costs of energy, unless more than 85 kwh per week to electricity is consumed, the multiple consumer costs will be deducted from the deposit al 0.25€ per Kwh. Keyholding will give an explanation on site.
